The American Polyurea community is what makes this organization different from a simple trade publication or directory. Behind our technical content and industry news is a network of more than 1,200 active polyurea professionals who share knowledge, collaborate on challenges, and actively invest in each other’s success. This page is a window into that community — who our members are, what they’re building, and what drives them.

The Member Mentorship Program
American Polyurea’s member mentorship program connects new applicators with experienced professionals for structured, one-on-one guidance over a 12-month engagement. Mentors share technical expertise, business development experience, and industry relationships that would otherwise take years to develop independently. The program has facilitated over 140 mentor-mentee pairings since its launch in 2021.
Applications to participate in the mentorship program — either as a mentor or a mentee — are accepted on a rolling basis. Current waitlist is approximately 6-8 weeks. To apply, complete the mentorship application through the member portal.
The Member Forum
The American Polyurea member forum is a private online community where members ask technical questions, share project photos, discuss market conditions, and get peer input on business challenges. The forum averages over 40 posts per week and maintains a library of over 8,000 archived discussions covering virtually every aspect of polyurea application and contracting.
Forum access is available to all active members through the member portal. The forum is organized by topic areas including: Equipment & Troubleshooting, Surface Preparation, Application Techniques, Business & Marketing, Regulatory & Compliance, and Chapter Discussion boards.

Members share completed project photos and case studies in the Project Showcase — a gallery of real-world polyurea applications submitted by practitioners from across the country.
