American Polyurea welcomed 23 new members in May 2026, continuing the organization’s strong growth trajectory heading into summer — historically the industry’s busiest season. New members this month join from 14 states, with the heaviest concentration in Texas (5), Florida (3), Ohio (3), and California (2).
A Sample of New Members
Crystal Vang — Crystal Clear Coatings, Sacramento, CA. Crystal focuses on agricultural storage tank liners in California’s Central Valley, where polyurea’s NSF/ANSI 61 certification for potable water and FDA compatibility for food-grade storage makes it the preferred lining solution for the region’s intensive agricultural operations. She discovered American Polyurea through our article on polyurea cistern liners.
Victor Osei — Apex Industrial Coatings, Houston, TX. Victor is expanding his existing industrial painting business into polyurea secondary containment and pipeline coatings, driven by client demand from the petrochemical corridor. He attended the Houston symposium co-hosted with AMPP in March and joined American Polyurea immediately after the event.
Marcia Bloom — Great Lakes Dock & Marine, Cleveland, OH. Marcia operates a marine coatings business and is adding polyurea for dock surface protection, barge floor coatings, and marine secondary containment. Her discovery of the contractor field guide comparing polyurea to traditional coatings convinced her to make the equipment investment.
Thomas Reyes — Reyes Infrastructure Solutions, Miami, FL. Thomas specializes in coastal bridge and marine infrastructure, an area where polyurea’s combination of corrosion resistance, flexibility, and UV stability (with aliphatic topcoat) creates a compelling value proposition. He attended his first Southeast Chapter meeting in April and joined immediately.
